Women were invaluable to the R.A.F , they did various tasks which freed up men to do other duties,

the W.A.A.F`s in our group portray signalers and medical staff.

They also do armourer`s work mending broken weapons and keep the R.A.F Regt gunners stocked up with ammunition.

Our W.A.A.Fs portray medical staff of "Princess Mary's R.A.F Nurses Service".

They work under the banner of the Red Cross alongside the R.A.F and R.A.F Regiment medical staff, in Theatres and areas of Operations.

They provide treatment and care, for all the injured R.A.F and Regiment forces including sometimes captured enemy forces and civilians as well.
